Harvest Home – Flower Arranging for the Autumn
with Nick Grounds
Friday September 29th 10.00am – 5.30pm
This is a one day course of practical tuition in the techniques and styles Nick uses in his demonstration on Thursday evening, with a particular focus on autumn flowers and foliage. You can expect some group tutorials, plenty of personal attention, and a wide range of fresh and stimulating ideas.
All this in the unique setting of the Castle, with its powerful historic atmosphere and stunning views, and beside a roaring fire in The Great Chamber.
Lunch or luxury picnic at the Castle is included in the course fee.
There also will be a chance to see and discuss progress on the Castle’s recreation of a medieval herb garden. It may be possible to make a visit to Lord Bolton’s private garden at Bolton Hall.
Your own choice of flowers and foliage, and any other elements you would like to include.
The vase/s or receptacle/s (or choice of) you would like to use.
Warm clothing for working in the Castle.
